Add These 10 Places in the US to Your Bucket List

As most of you may know, I have traveled the majority of the country (with just 10 states left to knock off my bucket list) . So, let's get right into it! The top places that you can vacation to in the US. In no particular order.

1. Tampa, Florida

With plenty to do, Tampa is the place to be! It is also not far from beautiful St. Petes beach which I would highly recommend checking out. There are tons of places to eat along the water as well as plenty of awesome yachts to check out on the water.

2. Dallas,Texas

Dallas is so huge there is truly not enough words to express how much there is to do there! They are always building more and more there. They have some awesome restaurants as well as some great shopping spots. I recently visited Dallas to go to a concert and it was a great time! So be sure to checkout if any of your artists are touring, you might be able to coordinate a time to make a trip out of it.

3. Denver, Colorado

Denver is also an awesome place to visit. The people are all so chill and friendly. They make you feel welcome and are always able to give you suggestions on some of the coolest places to check out. And of course you can't forget to research about the conspiracy theories about the Denver airport, keep your eyes peeled!

4. Colorado Springs, Colorado

Colorado Springs is an absolutely stunning area! My pictures do not even do it's justice. There are some great places to hike out there as well as some fun and cute local shops. The sunsets there are beyond beautiful. The views are truly unreal. You will just have to see for yourself.

5. Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville is one of the largest growing areas! The downtown area is so much fun. The strip of bars almost seems to be endless. There are also some great hotels to stay at that are close to downtown if not right downtown. My favorite bar on Broadway is Whiskey Row! If you're wanting to check out a fun but less touristy area, midtown is where its at! Winners and Losers are right next door to each other and a few doors down will be kung fu which is another fun bar. They have a really cool set up outdoors there with teeter totters , giant jenga, and a whole bunch of other yard games. Inside they have some private rooms you can rent out for karaoke, a secret hole to look in ( can't tell you what it is), ski ball , guitar hero, basketball and more! If you are not a country music person, don't worry, Nashville can still be fun ! The trick is that most of the bars will always have country playing on the first level, but typically as the night goes on and the higher you go up (level wise) the music usually gets to be more of some throwbacks, or current rap and pop hits! DM me with any questions or suggestions regarding Nashville (:

6. Chicago, Illinois

Chicago can be a really fun place especially in the summertime. There is plenty to do whether its taking pics at the basic bean downtown, going to a cubs or sox game, a concert, or checking out the different bars. You will have plenty of fun ! I would recommend staying downtown in the city and trying to map out the place you want to go. Chicago might look small but there are so many different parts of town. Ex- if you want to go to a cubs game the area over there is called wrigleyville, there are a strip of bars there you can check out. Stay safe & make sure to check reviews before booking anything to make sure you're in a safe area.

7. Scottsdale, Arizona

Scottsdale is a beautiful city! It is a suburb area of phoenix. It's a clean and safe area. I would say scottsdale area is for the most part pretty boujee. There are a ton of shopping malls and some great places to eat. There are also a few cool hiking areas as well in the area. If you're staying nearby in Tempe or Phoenix, be sure to give scottsdale a nice little tour. My favorite was the huge mall there hah. Problems of a shopaholic. But no really.. they do also have other cute shopping areas that are more local shops rather than the chain and department stores.

8. Las Vegas, Nevada

Viva Las Vegas Baby!! If you haven't already been ... It's a must. Sorry to say it , you might lose some money.. but you could also have the opportunity to win a ton of money too. The pros of visiting here is that the hotels are always super cheap because they usually want you to spend it gambling. I kid you not , you can get a 4 star hotel for under $50 a night. It would be perfect for a long or normal weekend trip! The pools at all of the hotels are amazing and big ! Most of them offer bottle service and typically do some kind of day party on most weekends which can be a lot of fun if you go with a big group of people.

Pro Tip- get your cash before you get to vegas, the ATMS will rip you off so bad you'll be wishing you brought a whole suitcase of cash. Haha.. but seriously all jokes aside if you don't have cash the ATMs will charge you like anywhere from $10-$50 just for the fee to use it. Scary.. I know!

9. Malibu, California

Need I say less? Cali is such a beautiful spot to vacation! The beaches are nothing like any other. Especially in Malibu. And of course you can always cruise along to some other cool areas like Hollywood, San Diego, San Francisco, Rodeo Dr. There is plenty to see in the state of California! I would recommend making a week out of it and checking out all of the places . The drive through Cali is so pretty too!

10. New York , New York

New York was a really fun place to visit! Of course Times Square is a must, obviously ! Another fun thing I did on my trip there was go up to the " Top of the Rock" which I would highly recommend doing it. I wanna say the tickets were like 20 or 30 bucks , but it was so worth it. You can get some awesome pics up there and the view of the city from up there is so sweet ( go at nighttime) . Everyone also is a huge fan of the pizza there. Personally, I didn't think it beat Chicago pizza , but hey that's just me so don't let it stop you. Give the Pizza a try ! NY is also very close to New Jersey which also has some fun areas to explore. You can make the most out of a weekend trip here and of course there is plenty to see, you could extend it to a 5 day vaca if you wanted to see more. I would check out the statue of Liberty as well at the 911 Museum- very sad but they did a phenomenal job with it.

Hope you enjoyed this Blog post. Stay tuned for more! What are your favorite places you've visited in the US? Where would you like to go that you haven't been yet? My first two spots are Hawaii and Alaska !

XOXO,

Paige
